The Professors

Hello and welcome to the Atelier of Faux and Trompe L'oeil.

The Atelier was established in 1996 to pass on the traditional knowledge and methods of Trompe L'oeil and Faux painting effects.

We introduce the skills of Faux and Trompe l'oeil to a new generation of artists who come from all over the world. The courses are taught through French and the hands on techniques of the school make it easy for people without French to understand the process and techniques.

Every method is demonstrated clearly & students have an opportunity to take notes prior to beginning their work piece. Classes are limited to a very small number of people and the teachers in the Atelier are actual artists/decorators with decades of experience.

Our new, roomier buildings, a former warehouse, has very tall ceilings, a glass roof and as a result, very good natural lighting.

It allows you to learn under excellent working conditions.

The Workshop of the Peintures en Décors offers a continuous training system.

-It is geared to offer training to the professional and the beginner.

-There are several training selections offered. They are listed on this site but if you need clarification feel free to contact us.

-Our administrative staff are fluent in English.
