The Masterclass Course and the Initiation to Decorative Techniques:

They begin at the same time, with the masterclass continuing on after the shorter course has been completed. The completion of the masterclass results in a diploma in Decorating and Painting. It is sufficient for a student to continue onto a career as a professional painter and decorator. The training technique is based upon the practice of imitation of techniques which are demonstrated by the teacher. It includes, demonstrations, explanations and application. All of which are shown clearly. The course material is the result of direct experience and the most sought after techniques are taught.

Initiation to Decorative Techniques:

This course was designed as an entry level course, from which students can graduate to the Master Classes. The introductory course establishs the basic ground rules of Trompe and Faux effects. It gives you a general introduction to the materials and to some of the working methods necessary to go forward to a more advanced level. Despite being an introductory course the class is also complete in itself. It shows you how to complete Patinas, explains the use of stencil key sets. How to paint a grey beach. How to paint the marble known as Portor. How to paint a fir tree. Contained within the course are key techniques and methods essential to moving forward to a masterclass in Faux and Trompe L'oeil.

Short Courses:
A direct introduction into the world of the decorative painter. This course allows you to discover the methods, chemicals and tools as well as the basic methods of working to go on to learn the masterclass methods.
